EXHIBIT E
Maestra SHAFT Policy
Effective date: January 13, 2026
This EXHIBIT (“EXHIBIT E”) forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the Maestra Software as a Service Agreement available at https://maestra.io/msa/ (the “SaaS Agreement”) between Maestra.io LLC (“Maestra”) and the customer entity identified in the SaaS Agreement or any applicable Order Form (“Customer”).
Maestra provides marketing automation tools (including email, SMS, and other channels). Because messaging rules vary by channel and are influenced by applicable law and by requirements of mobile carriers and messaging providers, Maestra applies the following SHAFT policy.
1) Definitions
“SHAFT” refers to categories of content that are restricted or prohibited by mobile carriers, messaging networks, and third-party service providers, and includes content relating to:
- Sex or sexually explicit material;
- Hate, harassment, or discriminatory content targeting protected classes;
- Alcohol (including promotion or sale of alcoholic beverages, except where explicitly permitted and compliant with applicable laws and platform requirements);
- Firearms, weapons, ammunition, firearm parts or accessories, and other regulated weapons (including knives, tasers, and stun guns); and
- Tobacco, vaping products, e-cigarettes, and related accessories.
2) SMS/MMS/Messenger Apps: Not permitted for SHAFT categories
Maestra does not permit use of Maestra’s SMS/MMS/Messenger Apps capabilities to promote, advertise, market, or facilitate the sale or transfer of SHAFT items, including parts and accessories.
This restriction applies to promotional messages, automated flows, campaigns, and any message content that is reasonably related to SHAFT.
3) Email and other channels: permitted only with strict compliance
Use of Maestra for email and other non-SMS/MMS/Messenger App channels by SHAFT businesses may be permitted only if the customer:
- Complies with all applicable federal/state/local laws and regulations;
- Uses lawful, permission-based marketing practices (no purchased or scraped lists);
- Implements and honors opt-outs and suppression requirements; and
- Does not use Maestra to facilitate illegal transactions or unlawful targeting (e.g., marketing to minors where prohibited).
4) Prohibited uses (all channels)
Maestra may not be used to:
- Promote illegal sales, transfers, or prohibited items;
- Assist in evading legal requirements, background checks, or age restrictions;
- Misrepresent products, licensing status, or compliance.
5) Review, enforcement, and suspension
Maestra may request reasonable information to confirm compliance with this Policy. Maestra may refuse, suspend, or terminate access to Services without prior notice if there are reasons to believe the Services are used in violation of SHAFT policy, or where Maestra determines continued service may create compliance, safety, or carrier/provider risk.
6) Updates
Maestra may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
