Platform Updates in October: Self-Managed Subscription and Improvements in the CDP, Campaigns and Recommendations

Highlights

Manage Your Mindbox Subscription

Project owners can now activate and deactivate their subscription themselves.

If you’ve already prepared everything you need to start working in Mindbox during the trial period, go to the “Billing details” section and select the module you'd like to enable. The system will ask you to confirm your decision and calculate how much the subscription will cost for the remaining days of the month:

The owner can also cancel the subscription themselves in the “Billing Details” section – all they have to do is click “Cancel Subscription” and confirm the cancelation. After this, the customer will be disconnected from the platform. All information, including customer data and data regarding the customer’s actions, will be deleted after 30 days.

Quickly Find Information about Your Order

Order information has become more like a simple receipt.

Key improvements:

  • awarded and spent points for different promotions are now summed up, details are available in the pop-up with links to promotions;
  • the product’s unit price and the total purchase price before the discount are now displayed. Simply hover over the price to see details about all available discounts;
  • the cost of the product line (the price per unit of an item multiplied by its quantity) is now available;
  • the total cost, payment mode, and delivery information are now available in the order details;
  • no more empty additional fields.

Touchpoints Can Be Removed Automatically

A large number of touchpoints are created and accumulated on large projects. It eventually becomes difficult to find the right one among them, as filters start to work slower.

You can now configure the auto-removal of touchpoints – simply enable this feature in the settings.

Testing Mobile Push Notifications in iOS Apps Has Become Easier

Previously, to test and launch mobile push notifications in iOS apps, you would have to create two different integration points: sandbox and production. If you accidentally make release an app with a sandbox integration point, push notifications will not be sent to users. In this case, you need to change the integration point and create release it again.

Now it has become easier to enable or disable the test mode. To test the push notification, go to the campaign editing page, select “Custom” in the drop-down menu, and tick the “Sandbox Test Message.” If you want to send a push notification to users, leave the box unchecked or uncheck it after testing.

A More Convenient Way to View SMS and Viber Campaign Actions

Previously, it was difficult to understand the actions of SMS and Viber campaigns. There was a lot of additional information in the description, status data was listed multiple times, and the current template was not always displayed.

Now the actions of SMS and Viber campaigns contain up-to-date information without containing unnecessary details.

Recommendations

Recommend Similar Products at a Lower Price

Previously, you could only choose to recommend similar products or more expensive ones. Now you can select cheaper ones to be included in recommendations.

This will be useful, for example, for pharmacies to offer generic and branded equivalents of certain medication at a lower price, or for travel agencies that will be able to display tours, tickets, and cheaper hotels.
